Yamaneko Matcha Bowl Collection
Why Yamaneko?
Yamaneko means “wild cat” in Japanese.
These little creatures began with a rather ridiculous cat bowl — yes, the one that pours from its mouth. But beneath the humor, I found something I genuinely loved: a beautiful glaze, a wonderfully functional shape, and a strange little face that seemed both wild and endearing.
So in the world of Touge Chaya, they became Yamaneko.
A little strange. A little wild. Beautiful in their own way.
