Our Hojicha

From a tea merchant in Shizuoka, with roots dating to 1865, this carefully roasted and finely milled medium-roast hojicha has a deep cocoa-brown colour, a rich toasted character and a smooth finish. Its robust roasted flavour makes it especially well suited for creamy lattes, baking and desserts.

Approximate servings: 50 per 100 g pouch (2 g, approximately 1 teaspoon, per serving).

Preparation

Whisk 1 tsp with 50 ml hot water (80 °C) until smooth. Enjoy as is, or add water or milk to taste.
